Dulquer Salmaan's King Of Kotha (KOK) is one of the most anticipated Malayalam films of the year. Though the film is scheduled for Onam release in August, it is already making waves in the trade circles. Sony Music has bagged the film's music records, which is reportedly the highest for a Malayalam film. Jakes Bejoy and Shaan Rahman are handling the music for KOK.

Directed by debutant Abhilash Joshiy, KOK is a gangster film spanning multiple timelines. It is scripted by Abhilash N Chandran of Porinju Mariam Jose-fame. Sarpatta Parambarai-fame Shabeer Kallarakkal, Nyla Usha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gokul Suresh, Chemban Vinod Jose, Prasanna, and many others star in the film. Irudhi Suttru-fame Ritika Singh will also be seen in a special dance number.

Produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios, KOK is mounted as a pan-Indian project with release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada as well.
