The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Phoenix, released the first look poster of the film on Wednesday. Midhun Manuel Thomas, who is best known for helming the Aadu franchise, penned the script of the film, which is billed as a horror thriller.

Directed by debutant filmmaker Vishnu Bharathan, who is a former associate of Midhun Phoenix stars Chandhunadh, Aju Varghese and Anoop Menon in prominent roles. The poster features a  bird spreading its wings in a cemetery. 

Produced by Rinish K N under the banner of Front Row Productions, the film has music composed by Sam C S. The technical team of Phoenix comprises Alby behind the camera and Nitish K T R as the editor. 

Midhun Manuel Thomas last penned and directed the crime thriller film Anjaam Pathiraa, released in 2020, starring Kunchacko Boban, Sharaf U Dheen and Sreenath Bhasi, among others.
