Earlier, speculation was going rounds that Mohanlal will resume filming for Jeethu Joseph's Ram after completing Malaikottai Valiban. Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that Ram is expected to hit the theatres on the occasion of Onam by the end of August. However, an official announcement about the same is yet to be made.

The final schedule is said to take place in London and Paris. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, this big-scale film has already been shot in several foreign countries, including UK and Morocco. It may be noted that filming for Ram began in 2019 but was stalled in the wake of Covid-19. The makers resumed shooting only last August. Ram is said to be a two-part project, but the makers are yet to confirm it. Earlier, in a conversation with us, director Jeethu revealed that it's a realistic action film that deals with elements like drama and family sentiments.

Trisha, Indrajith Sukumaran and Samyuktha Menon also star in it. Produced by Ramesh P Pillai and Sudhah S Pillai, the film's technical crew includes cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, editor VS Vinayak, and music composer Vishnu Shyam.
