The makers of Saajir Sadaf's Pattaapakal released the film's title look poster on Monday. The upcoming film is a Malayalam dark comedy with a screenplay written by PS Arjun. The film, produced by Nandhakumar under the banner Sri Nandanam Films, went on floors on Monday.

Billed to be a musical comedy film, Pattaapakal stars Johny Antony, Sudhi Koppa, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Ramesh Pisharody, and Kichu Tellus in lead roles. The film also stars Vineeth Thattil, Franco Francis, Prasanth Murali, Gokulan, Renjith Konkal, Reghunath, Vysakh Vijayan, Geetha Sangeetha, Manju Pathrose, Aamina and Sandhya in supporting roles. 

Shaan Rahman will be composing the music for Pattaapakal, which will have cinematography by Kannan Patteri. Jassal Saheer is the editor. Manu Manjith will be penning lyrics for the film, while Santhosh Venjaramood will handle art direction.
