Thuruthu, headlined by veteran actor Sudheesh, is set to hit screens on March 31. Written and directed by Suresh Gopal, the film tells the struggles of an immigrant family. It is evident from the film's tagline 'The journey for a shelter'. It is produced by Sajan Balan and Suresh Gopal under the banner of Yes Be Creative.

Thuruthu also stars Keerthy Sreejith, Master Abhimany, MG Sunil Kumar, Shajahan, KPAC Pushpa, Madhusudhanan, Zakir Hussain, Saji Sukumaran, Appu Muttara and Prasanna. Lal Kannan is the cinematographer, and the music is by Rajeev ONV.
