It's a wrap for Asif Ali-Biju Menon's film

As reported earlier, Biju Menon and Asif Ali are coming together for director Jis Joy's next. After a two-month-long shoot, the makers wrapped it up on Friday. Scripted by debutants Anand Thevarkad and Sharath Perumbavoor, the film, according to the makers, is a mass investigative thriller set in the rural Malabar region.

Biju Menon and Asif Ali have earlier acted together in films like Ordinary, Vellimoonga, Pakida, Kavi Uddheshichathu and Anuraga Karikkin Vellam. The Nadhirshah directorial Mera Naam Shaji marked their last outing together.

The upcoming film, which is yet-to-be-titled, also stars Anusree, Reenu Mathews, Dileesh Pothan, Shanker Ramakrishnan, and Kottayam Nazeer in key roles. On the technical front, it has Sharan Velayudhan as the cinematographer and Sooraj ES as the editor. Arun Narayan Productions and London Studios are jointly backing the project.
