The teaser of Kunchacko Boban-starrer Padmini, which got released on Friday, introduces him as someone looking for a potential partner in life. The video opens with him visiting a marriage bureau where he is shown the profiles of two women, played by Aparna Balamurali and Madonna Sebastian. Interestingly, the teaser doesn't feature the third female lead, Vincy Aloshious.

Padmini is directed by Senna Hegde of Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam-fame. The film also stars Malavika Menon, Althaf Salim, Sajin Cherukayil, Anand Manmadhan, Ganapathy, Seema G Nair, Gokulan, James Elia and Jayakumar Parameswaran Pillai. It is scripted by Kunjiramayanam-fame Deepu Pradeep. Sreeraj Raveendran, who shot Senna's last two films, Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam and 1744 White Alto, is the cinematographer, and Jakes Bejoy composes the music.

The film is produced by Prasobh Krishna and Suvin K Varkey under the banner of Little Big Films. Central Pictures will be releasing the film, post-theatrical streaming rights for which has already been bagged by Netflix.

Kunchacko Boban, last seen in 2018, has Jay R Krishnan's Grrr and Tinu Pappachan's Chaaver coming up.
