Tovino's Vazhakk to compete at Ottawa Indian Film Festival

The film is directed by award-winning filmmaker Sanal Kumar Sasidharan

Tovino Thomas-starrer Vazhakk (Quarrel), directed by award-winning filmmaker Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, is set to compete at the Ottawa Indian Film Festival Awards. The film had its world premiere at last year's International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), held in December. It was also previously featured in the International Film Festival of South Asia – Seoul and was the opening film at the Indian Film Festival of Bhubaneswar (IIFB), held earlier this year in January.

Vazhakk has Tovino playing an advocate's role. Kani Kusruti, Sudev Nair, and Azeez Nedumangad are also part of the film. Besides scripting and directing, Sanal Kumar Sasidharan has also handled the film's editing and sound design. It has cinematography by Chandru Selvaraj and music by Prithvi Chandrasekhar.

Tovino, last seen in the record-breaking blockbuster 2018, is currently shooting for Anveshippin Kandethum.
