Veteran actor Suhasini is playing one of the key roles in the upcoming Malayalam web series Jai Mahendran. Starring Saiju Kurup as the lead, the Sony LIV series has Rahul Riji Nair attached to it as the writer, producer, and showrunner. As Suhasini wrapped up shooting for her portions, Rahul shared a note of gratitude on his social media handle recounting the delightful experience he had with her.

In his note, Rahul mentioned the moments spent with her as some of the most insightful time of his life. He also recalled their conversations on cinema, literature, feminism, life and everything in between, which altered his perspectives as an artist. He ended the note by commending Suhasini's professionalism and the compassion she exuded.

Jai Mahendran is directed by Rahul's former assistant Srikanth Mohan. Billed as a political drama, the show has Saiju Kurup as a corrupt deputy Tehsildar corrupt officer who believes in getting things done through powerplay and using his influence within the system. Miya George, Suresh Krishna, Maniyanpilla Raju, Balachandran Chullikad, Rahul Riji Nair, Vishnu Govindan, and Sidhartha Siva also star in it.
