Mohanlal to begin filming for Empuraan in September?

Recently, the makers of Empuraan shared a new poster wishing Mohanlal on his birthday. The actor reprises his character Khureshi Ab'braam in the sequel to Lucifer.

Meanwhile, the latest speculations suggest that actor Mohanlal will start shooting for the upcoming film in the first week of September. The buzz also notes that the film will be shot in Noida, Ladakh, and some foreign locations.

The film will be directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy. The makers have been involved in extensive pre-production work for the last few months. It included location scouting across various states in India and abroad. Besides Empuraan, Mohanlal also has Malaikottai Valiban, Ram, and Barroz in different stages of production.
