Dhyan Sreenivasan has completed shooting for his next, Swargathile Katturumbu, directed by Jespal Shanmukhan from a story by KN Sivankuttan and screenplay by Viju Ramachandran, under the banner of Maina Creations. Gayathri Asokan plays the female lead.

Shot in Thodupuzha, Swargathile Katturumbu is, according to the makers, primarily a comedy, with a strong emphasis on music.

It also features Appani Sarath, Srikanth Murali, Joy Mathew, Chempil Ashokan, Sivankuttan, Gauri Nanda, Ambika Mohan, Maheshwari Amma, Pashanam Shaji, Nirmal Palazhi, Ullas Pandalam, and the late Kollam Sudhi for whom this was one of his last appearances.
 
Co-produced by Ramesh Panicker, the film has Ashwaghosan behind the camera and Kapil Krishna on the editing, with music by Bijibal and lyrics by Santosh Verma and Sabu Arakuzha.
