We had earlier reported that Shaji Kailas' son Jagan would be helming an upcoming Malayalam film headlined by actor Siju Wilson. The latest update is that the film has launched with a Pooja ceremony on Thursday. By sharing the glimpses from the ceremony, Siju shared that the filming will commence soon. The film is backed by MPM Group and St Maria Productions.

Earlier, Jagan had announced another film with Asif Ali as the lead. Celebrated novelist Jeyamohan was supposed to script the film with Shaji Kailas attached to it as the producer. However, the current status of the project remains unknown.

Siju Wilson was last seen shooting for Panjavalsara Padhathi, which is directed by PG Premlal and scripted by Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum-fame Sajeev Pazhoor. The actor is also set to reunite with director Vinayan for a new film. The duo had earlier collaborated for the period epic Pathonpatham Noottandu.
