Mammootty is currently shooting for debutant Deeno Dennis' Bazooka in Kochi. Said to be an unique attempt in Malayalam, the film will have Mammootty appearing in multiple looks. The makers, however, are careful of not spilling too many details and kill the curiosity among fans. 

Along with Mammootty, the film also stars Tamil filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon in a prominent role. Shine Tom Chacko, Sidharth Bharthan, VK Prakash, Minnal Murali-fame Vasisht Umesh, and Bhama Arun are among the others in the cast.

Bazooka's technical crew includes cinematographer Nimish Ravi and music director Midhun Mukundan, who both were part of Mammootty's Rorschach. Nishad Yusuf is the editor. The film is produced by Dolwin Kuriakose, Jinu V Abraham, Vikram Mehra, Sidharth, and Anand Kumar under the banners of Theatre of Dreams and Yoodlee Films.

Meanwhile, Mammootty has Kaathal gearing up for release. The Jeo Baby directorial stars Jyotika as the female lead.
