Dulquer Salmaan's King of Kotha is on track for an Onam release in August. The makers are currently working on its post-production, including the dubbing works. Actor Shammy Thilakan, who plays the role of Dulquer's father in the film, completed dubbing for his portions recently. He informed the same by sharing a photo taken with director Abhilash Joshiy in the dubbing studio.

King of Kotha promises an action-packed gangster drama set across different timelines. It is scripted by Abhilash Chandran, who earlier wrote Porinju Mariam Jose. While Dulquer plays the lead role of a crime lord, the cast also includes Shabeer Kallarakkal, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Chemban Vinod Jose, Gokul Suresh, Nyla Usha, and Prasanna.

Shammy Thilakan will also be seen in a prominent role in Prithviraj's Vilayath Buddha. Directed by Jayan Nambiar, the film deals with the conflict between Shammy's character Bhaskaran Master, and his protege, a smuggler named Double Mohanan (Prithviraj). Its shoot is currently stalled due to Prithviraj's injury
