The makers of RDX recently announced that the film will hit the theatres for the Onam festivity. Billed as an action-packed entertainer, the film is directed by debutant Nahas Hidayath. The film stars Shane Nigam, Antony Varghese, and Neeraj Madhav as Robert, Dony, and Xavier, respectively.

RDX is scripted by Shabas Rasheed and Adarsh Sukumaran. The film is named after its main characters, Robert, Dony, and Xavier. Mahima Nambiar and Aima Rosmy Sebastian are the female leads. The cast also includes Lal, Baiju Santhosh, Shammi Thilakan, Maala Parvathy, and Nishant Sagar.

RDX is produced by Sophia Paul's Weekend Blockbusters. The film is heavy on action, with the use of martial arts being an integral factor. Anbariv, known for their work in KGF, Kaithi, and Vikram, is handling the action choreography. Sam CS is on board as the music director, while Alex J Pulickal is the director of photography. Richard Kevin (Vikram Vedha, Suzhal) is in charge of editing.
