Asif Ali, Aparna Balamurali-starrer Kishkintha Kaandam begins

It is the duo's fifth film together

We had earlier reported about Asif Ali reuniting with Kakshi Amminipilla director Dinjith Ayyathan for Kishkintha Kaandam. The film got launched with a pooja and switch-on function on Saturday. Produced by Kaka Stories and Joby George's Goodwill Entertainments, it stars Aparna Balamurali as the female lead. The film marks Asif and Aparna's fifth outing together after Sunday Holiday, Thrissivaperoor Kliptham, B Tech, and Kaapa.

Kishkintha Kaandam is scripted by Bahul Ramesh, who also serves as the film's cinematographer. Vijayaraghavan, Jagadish, Ashokan, Nishan, Nizhalgal Ravi, Major Ravi, and Kottayam Ramesh also star in it. Music director Sushin Shyam and editor Sooraj ES are also part of the technical team.

Asif Ali, last seen in 2018, has Mridul Nair's Kasargold, an untitled film with Jis Joy, and a film co-starring Sharafudheen and Amala Paul lined up. Meanwhile, Aparna's upcoming slate includes the July 7-release PadminiMindiyum Paranjum and Rudhiram
