Puthuthayorith: Melodious new single from Iratta out

Joju George's Iratta is set to hit screens this Friday. As part of promotions, the makers have organised a grand audio launch in Kochi on Wednesday. Ahead of the audio launch, a new song has been released online. Titled Puthuthayorith, the melodious track is composed by Jakes Bejoy and sung by Shahabaz Aman. Writer-director Muhsin Parari has penned the lyrics. Earlier, the makers had released a promo song titled Enthinadi Poonkuyile. It was a folk song crooned by Joju along with Benedict Shine and Akhil J Chand.

Iratta is written and directed by debutant Rohit MG Krishnan.

The film, which has Joju in a dual role, tells the story of a rivalry between twin brothers Vinod and Pramod, who are both cops. Popular South Indian actor Anjali is making her comeback to Malayalam with this film. The cast includes Srinda, Arya Salim, Srikant Murali, Kichu Tellus, Manoj KU, Shebin Benson, Sabumon Abdusamad, and Abhiram among others.

Iratta has cinematography by Vijay and edits handled by Manu Antony. It is produced jointly by Joju, filmmaker Martin Prakkat, and Sijo Vadakkan.
