The makers of the Mammootty-starrer Christopher released a new poster on Friday. 

Sharing the poster, Mammootty announced that the film will be released soon. The poster features Mammootty, Sarath Kumar, Shine Tom Chacko, Dileesh Pothan, Jinu Joseph, Sneha, Vinay Rai, Amala Paul and Aishwarya Lekshmi.

Directed by B Unnikrishnan, the film is billed as a thriller based on real-life incidents. Christopher is scripted by Uday Krishna, marking his second collaboration with the director after Mohanlal's Aaraattu. 

Mammootty plays the titular role of Christopher, the chief of an investigation wing named DPCAW. Tamil actor Vinay Rai, will mark his Malayalam debut with Christopher. He plays an antagonist named Sitaram Trimurthi in the film. The film is produced jointly by Aroma Mohan and RD Illuminations. Christopher's technical crew includes cinematographer Faiz Siddik, music composer Justin Varghese and editor Manoj.
