We earlier reported that director Chidambaram's next is titled Manjummel Boys. The latest report is that the film's production has begun. 

Unveiling a poster, the makers announced that the film stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi, Lal Jr, Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Arun Kurian, Khalid Rahman, Chandu Salimkumar and Vishnu Raghu. The poster features a bunch of boys climbing a tree against the backdrop of hilly terrain.

Manjummel Boys is produced by Soubin, Babu Shahir and Shawn Antony under the Parava films banner. The technical crew includes cinematographer Shyju Khalid, editor Vivek Harsha and production designer Ajayan Chalissery. 

Chidambaram's debut film Jan.E.Man, starring Basil Joseph, Balu Varghese, Lal, Arjun Ashokan and Ganapathi, received critical acclaim and emerged as a blockbuster hit at the box office.
