After earning a glorious nomination at the Oscars, for Best Documentary Short Film, The Elephant Whisperers has been receiving praise from many celebrities. The latest celebrity to shower praise is actor Aishwarya Lekshmi.

The actor has taken to social media to share her love for the film. Expressing how the documentary stole her heart, Aishwarya wrote, "Raghu, Ammu, Bomman and Bellie have my entire heart! Here is hoping and praying that you get to bring us the Oscars this year, and congratulations to the entire team."  

The Elephant Whisperers, tells the tale of an elderly couple — Bomman and Bellie — who become caretakers of two abandoned baby elephants Raghu and Ammukutty. The documentary short has been helmed by Karthiki Gonsalves and produced by Guneet Monga under Sikhya Entertainment. Guneeta Monga served as an executive producer for Period. End of Sentence. which won the 2019 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short.
