We had earlier reported about Asif Ali and Mamta Mohandas starring in Sethu's upcoming directorial Maheshum Maruthiyum. Its makers shared the first song video on Tuesday. Titled Naalumani Poovu, it is sung by Hari Sankar and written by BK Harinarayanan. The song is composed and arranged by Kedar.

Billed as a romantic comedy, Maheshum Maruthiyum revolves around a Maruti 800 model car and the characters played by Asif and Mamta. Since the car is an essential part of the story and has a bond with the main characters, the makers used a restored 1983 version of the Maruti 800.

Maheshum Maruthiyum is backed by actor Maniyanpilla Raju's production house in association with VSL Film House. Faiz Siddik is the cinematographer and edits are handled by Jith Joshie. The makers are yet to announce the release date.
