Dileep is collaborating with director Ratheesh Reghunandan for his next. Tentatively titled D 148, the project is backed by RB Choudary's Super Good Films and Iffaar Media. The makers are planning to launch the film on January 27 with a customary switch on ceremony. Details regarding its cast and crew members will be announced on the launch day.

Ratheesh Reghunandan made his debut last year with Udal. The film, starring Durga Krishna, Indrans and Dhyan Sreenivasan, was noted for its bold content. Recently, there were talks about the film getting remade in Hindi with Naseeruddin Shah as one of the leads, but an official announcement is yet to be made.

Meanwhile, Dileep is shooting for Bandra, which marks his reunion with Ramaleela director Arun Gopy. Scripted by Uday Krishna, it is a mass entertainer set in the backdrop of Mumbai underworld. The actor also has Raffi's Voice of Sathyanathan in the post-production stage. Joshiy's On Air Eapen and Parakkum Pappan, a superhero film with Viyaan Vishnu, are his other upcoming projects.
