Director Jithin Issac Thomas, who showed much promise with Pra. Thoo. Mu—a segment in the Freedom Fight anthology—and Attention Please, is next helming a film titled Rekha. The makers released its teaser on Sunday.

Vincy Aloshious plays the lead role in the film. In the teaser, we see a young couple, played by Vincy and Unni Lalu, involved in a secret relationship. In parallel, there's an elderly couple concerned about the 'illicit affair' between their rooster and the neighbour's hen.

Rekha has music by The Escape Medium, Milan VS, and Nikhil V. Its technical crew also includes cinematographer Abraham Joseph and editor Rohit VS Variyath. It stars Premalatha Thayineri, Rajesh Azhikkodan, Renji Kankol, Prathapan KS, and Vishnu Govindan in supporting roles.

Tamil filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj, who debuted in Malayalam cinema by presenting Jithin Issac Thomas' debut feature Attention Please, is presenting Rekha as well. The film, produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, is confirmed to hit screens on February 10.
