Nivin Pauly's next with director Haneef Adeni was launched on Friday with a customary pooja ceremony, following which the team started shooting on Saturday in Ras Al-Khaimah. Tentatively titled NP4 2, the project is backed by Nivin's Pauly Jr Pictures and Listin Stephen's Magic Frames.

Nivin and Haneef had earlier worked together in Mikhael, an actioner released in 2019. Their new film, also planned as an action-packed entertainer, will be shot majorly in UAE. It also stars Balu Varghese, Saniya Iyappan, Vinay Forrt, Jaffer Idukki, and Ganapathi in key roles.

After this project, Nivin is expected to start shooting for Thaaram with Kili Poyi director Vinay Govind. The actor also has the long-delayed Rajeev Ravi directorial Thuramukham, and the Tamil film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai lined up for release.
