Popular South Indian actor Anjali is making a comeback to Malayalam cinema with Iratta, the upcoming Joju George-starrer. The makers have released a poster introducing her character Malini. Anjali, who made her Malayalam debut in 2011 with Jayasurya's Payyans, was last seen in Rosapoo (2018).

Iratta, written and directed by debutant Rohit MG Krishnan, tells the story of two twin brothers who are police officers. Joju plays a dual role for the first time in his career. The cast includes Srinda, Arya Salim, Srikant Murali, Sabumon Abdusamad, and Abhiram among others. The film has cinematography by Vijay, music by Jakes Bejoy, and edits handled by Manu Antony. Produced jointly by Joju, filmmaker Martin Prakkat, and Sijo Vadakkan, Iratta is set to hit screens on February 2.

Anjali, who had two back-to-back web series releases with Jhansi and Fall, has the Shankar-Ram Charan film RC 15 and the Ram directorial Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai coming up.
