Joju George's upcoming film Iratta will hit screens on February 2, announced the makers on Thursday. Written and directed by debutant Rohit MG Krishnan, the film has Joju playing a dual role for the first time in his career.

Iratta tells the story of twin brothers who are police officers. Interestingly, the film's earlier-released first look had only one of them in khakis. The cast includes Anjali, Srinda, Arya Salim, Srikant Murali, Sabumon Abdusamad, and Abhiram among others.

The film has cinematography by Vijay, a former associate of Girish Gangadharan and Shyju Khalid. It has music by Jakes Bejoy, and edits handled by Manu Antony. Filmmaker Martin Prakkat, Joju, and Sijo Vadakkan are jointly producing the film.

Joju, last seen in Adrishyam, has Pulimada and the long-delayed Thuramukham coming up. He is also in talks with Tamil filmmaker Madhumitha for a new project. The two had earlier worked together in Mouname Paarvayaai, a segment in the Amazon Prime Video anthology Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa.
