Anoop Menon has announced that he will next direct a film titled Nalpathukarante Irupathiyonnkaari. His banner Anoop Menon Storyz is backing the film, which will go on floors in April. Announcing the project through social media, Anoop Menon wrote that it's a 'bohemian story of love and passion'. He also added that they are planning to shoot the film in Shillong and Uttarakhand.

It is worth a mention that the project was first announced in 2020 as Oru Nalpathukarante Irupathonnukaari. VK Prakash was supposed to helm the film then, with Anoop Menon as Priya Prakash Varrier as the leads. With VK Prakash being replaced as the director, it remains to be seen if Priya is still a part of the project. The Oru Adaar Love actor is currently working with VKP in the upcoming social thriller, Live.

For Nalpathukarante Irupathiyonnkaari, Anoop Menon has retained almost the same technical team from his previous directorial, Padma. It includes cinematographer Mahadevan Thampi, editor Zian Sreekanth and composer Ninoy Varghese.
