Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu are coming together for director Jay K's next. Shaji Nadesan is backing the film under the banner of August Cinemas. The makers launched the project on Friday with a pooja and switch-on ceremony, held in Thiruvananthapuram.

Jay K made his directorial debut in 2017 with the horror thriller Ezra. He then helmed a segment titled Savithri in the anthology series Aanum Pennum. He also made his Hindi debut with the Emraan Hashmi-starrer Dybukk, which was the remake of Ezra. In 2020, the director had announced a project titled Grrr with Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu as the leads. However, its production didn't take off then. We learn that the new project is the revival of the 2020-announced Grrr. It's not sure if the makers are retaining the same title.

As per our sources, it's planned as a fun film with zoo and animals as part of the storyline. Jayesh Nair will be handling the cinematography. More details regarding the other cast and crew members are expected to be out in the coming days.
