The makers of Pranaya Vilasam have released the trailer of the film. The film stars Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara, and Mamitha in the lead roles. 

The trailer opens with Anaswara asking her friend's opinion about "Love at first sight." Then the scene cuts to Arjun Ashokan and Mamitha being lovers in a college environment. The trailer also shows glimpses of Arjun's character's family scene. Miya George also appears in the trailer as a new teacher on the campus.

The film is directed by Nikhil Muraly and scripted jointly by Jyothish M and Sunu AV. Siby Chavara and Renjith Nair produce the film.

Pranaya Vilasam marks the reunion of Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara, and Mamitha after last year's Super Sharanya. Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam-fame Manoj KU plays the role of Arjun's father role, and Hakeem Shajahan also plays another prominent role in the film. 

Pranaya Vilasam has cinematography handled by Shinoz, and Binu Nepolean handles the edits.
