Suresh Gopi, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Gautham Vasudev Menon are coming together for a new film directed by Kunjamminis Hospital-fame, Sanal V Devan. Tentatively titled SG 257, the film got launched on Friday in Kochi.

Actors Suraj, Surabhi Lakshmi and other crew members attended the pooja ceremony. Maverik Movies is producing the film in association with Sanjaypandiyoor Entertainments.

SG 257 has its story penned by Jithu K  Jayan and Manu C Kumar. The latter, who recently made his directorial debut with Sesham Mikeil Fathima, has also written the screenplay and dialogues. Ajay David Kachappilly handles the cinematography and Mansoor Muthutty, the editing. Rahul Raj, who has been assigned as the composer, recently expressed his excitement in working on a Suresh Gopi-starrer after a gap of 16 long years. Their last collaboration came in the Shaji Kailas directorial Time.
