 Indrans is in a new avatar of detective; Rani trailer is here

Earlier, we had reported that Shanker Ramakrishnan would be helming a film titled Rani. On Monday, the makers have released the trailer of the film. Rani features an ensemble cast including Bhavana, Urvashi, Mala Parvathy, Honey Rose, Indrans, and Guru Somasundaram.

In the trailer, we see Indrans portraying a detective who is aiding in a police investigation into the murder of MLA Dharmarajan, played by Guru Somasundaram. The trailer is filled with thrilling moments and mystery, hinting at a classic whodunnit storyline. Though Bhavana, Honey Rose and Urvashi only make brief appearances in the trailer, we can anticipate a more in-depth exploration of their characters on screen. The trailer predominantly features newcomer Niyathi Kadambi, hinting that her character may be the driving force behind the plot.

Rani is produced by Vinod Menon, Shanker Ramakrishnan and Jimmy Jacob under the Magictail Works production banner. The film's cast also includes Anumol, Maniyanpilla Raju, Aswin Gopinath, Krishnan Balakrishnan, Ambi Neenasam, and Aswanth Lal.

The technical crew of the film consists of Vinayak Gopal as cinematographer and Appu Bhattathiri as editor. Rani's music is composed by Mena Melath.
