Two days after the film's release, the makers of King of Kotha have shared the eagerly awaited Kotha Raja track. The song has been anticipated by many ever since the film's trailer came out. With lyrics by Muhsin Parari, the song is composed, arranged and produced by Jakes Bejoy. The song also has Malayalam rap lyrics and vocals by Dabzee. In Tamil, the rap lyrics and vocals are by Asal Kolaar, while in Telugu, it's done by Roll Rida. Jakes, Resmi Sateesh, Aavani Malhar, and Sony Mohan have also lent their vocals.

King of Kotha, directed by Abhilash Joshiy, is a gangster drama set in a fictional town, Kotha. It is scripted by Abhilash N Chandran, who made his debut his with Porinju Mariam Jose. While Dulquer plays a local thug-turned-assasin Raju, Sarapatta Parambara-fame Shabeer Kallarakkal essays the antagonist's role of Kannan. Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prasanna, Gokul Suresh, Nyla Usha, Chemban Vinod Jose, Shammy Thilakan and Anikha also star in the film.

King of Kotha, which had a solo release on Thursday, faced a massive 69 percent dip in the domestic box office collections the very next day thanks to stiff competition from Nivin Pauly's Ramachandra Boss and Co, and the actioner, RDX. The verdict for the Onam winner is expected to be out by the end of the weekend.
