Dulquer Salmaan is among the very few who could be called a legitimate pan-Indian actor. Besides his home turf Malayalam, the actor has also successfully established himself as a bankable actor in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. Kannada is the only mainstream regional industry that Dulquer is yet to explore. In a recent interview, when asked about the same, the actor said it's not a deliberate choice and added that he's waiting for something exciting from Kannada.

Dulquer also went on to reveal a possible collaboration with actor-director Raj B Shetty. He hinted that his banner, Wayfarer Films might be collaborating with Raj for a Malayalam film. 

Raj, who directed the acclaimed Ondu Motteya Kathe and Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana in Kannada, is already making his Malayalam debut with Rudhiram. Also starring Aparna Balamurali, the film is directed by Jisho Lon Antony.
