Major film bodies in Kerala recently decided not to associate with actor Shane Nigam after recurring allegations. One of the allegations was raised by Sophia Paul, the producer of his upcoming film RDX.  She alleged that the actor had demanded a few corrections regarding his prominence in the film. The letter Shane has sent to the producer has surfaced on the internet, and the complaint Sophia Paul filed to the Kerala Film Producers' Association (KFPA) is also whirling in social media.

In the letter to the producer, Shane demands that his character should be given more prominence compared to the other two actors (Neeraj Madhav and Antony Varghese)  and also specify the character he plays should be projected as the lead and give importance to the stage of marketing, promotion and branding of the film. He also mentioned that his grievances come from the promises the producer made during the initial discussions.

In the complaint to KFPA, Sophia Paul mentioned that even though she agreed to show the film footage to Shane, he later demanded a free hand in the film promotions and that posters should not be released without his consent.

She also mentioned that Shane's indiscipline, non-cooperation, and unprofessionalism had caused financial loss and embarrassment to the production house.

Along with Shane Nigam, actor Sreenath Bhasi was also banned by the film bodies.
