 Basil Joseph pens a heartfelt note on Mamukoya's demise

Following the demise of actor Mamukoya, the Malayalam fraternity remembers fond memories of the actor. The director turned actor-Basil Joseph, who worked with the veteran in various films, took to his social media handle to pen a heartfelt note.

Basil's note, which he penned in Malayalam, reads, "Thank you for all the laugh you gave us. I feel very fortunate to have worked with Ikka in Kunjiramayanam, Godha and Minnal Murali. Condolences"

The veteran Malayalam actor Mamukoya passed away in Kozhikode on Wednesday. He was 76. 

On Monday, the actor, who attended the inauguration of a football tournament in Malappuram, collapsed after he expressed some discomfort. He was then rushed to the nearest hospital and later shifted to a private hospital in Kozhikode. He reportedly suffered cardiac arrest and brain haemorrhage and was put on ventilator support. After his health condition deteriorated, he breathed his last on Tuesday.
