On the occasion of Eid, the makers of Dileep's Bandra released the film's teaser. Directed by Arun Gopy, who earlier made Ramaleela with Dileep, this upcoming film is billed as a big-scale mass entertainer. Udaykrishna is scripting the film, which reportedly has Dileep as a gangster.

The teaser begins with a dialogue, "Who said this is solely a story of a heroine? This story has a hero... a real hero. And then we get a glimpse of the sleek and stylish Dileep. He plays Alan Alexander Dominic and is seen performing some action sequences. The video also features a glimpse of Bandra in Mumbai, Rajasthan forts, and some good moments of Alan and Tamannaah's character. 

Bandra will mark Tamannaah's debut in Malayalam. The film also stars non-Malayali actors like Sarath Kumar, Dino Morea, Rajveer Ankur Singh, Amit Tiwari, Easwari Rao, and VTV Ganesh. While Shajikumar is the film's cinematographer, these foreign portions were shot by Sujith Vaassudev, who worked in Lucifer. Editor Vivek Harshan and music director Sam CS are also part of the technical team. Bandra is produced by Ajith Vinayaka Films.
