Even as he is acting in some of the most-expected films in Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi, actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran is also gearing up to begin directing his next, L2: Empuraan. Starring Mohanlal in the lead, this project marks Prithvi's hattrick directorial collaboration with the former after Lucifer and Bro Daddy. 

Prithviraj took to social media to announce that he is currently scouting locations in the United Kingdom for the much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 blockbuster, Lucifer, which rewrote records in Malayalam cinema history. 

Sharing a picture of himself in a brown leather jacket, and a pair of jeans, Prithviraj wrote, "Day 3. UK Location Scout. #L2E Empuraan. Happy Vishu to all."

Apart from directing Empuraan, Prithviraj has an interesting lineup of releases as an actor, including Blessy's Aadujeevitham, Vilayath Buddha, Prashanth Neel's Salaar with Prabhaas, and Bade Miya Chote Miya opposite Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff
