We had recently reported about Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon teaming up for a new film produced by Listin Stephen. The makers officially announced the project on Saturday on the occasion of Vishu. Titled Garudan, it is directed by debutant Arun Varma and scripted by Midhun Manuel Thomas.

Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon have acted together in several films like Kaliyattam, FIR, Pathram, Randaam Bhavam and Kichamani MBA. They last shared screen in Joshiy's multi-starrer Christian Brothers. The two were also announced as the leads in Ottakomban, an action film supposed to be directed by debutant Mathews Thomas. But the project's current status is not known. Garudan, billed as a crime theiller, has its story by Jinesh M. The film has Ajay David Kachappilly as the cinematographer, Sreejith Sarang as the editor and Jajes Bejoy to handle the music.
