After the smashing success of Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, director Vipin Das is next set to helm Guruvayur Ambala Nadayil with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph as the leads. Tamil actor Yogi Babu was recently signed for an important role in the film. Latest to join the cast is Nikhila Vimal and Anaswara Rajan, who both are likely to be the female leads.

Guruvayur Ambala Nadayil, scripted by Kunjiramayanam-fame Deepu Pradeep, is said to be a fun entertainer centered around the events that occur during a wedding in Guruvayur. Prithviraj is reportedly playing a character with negative shades in the film.

The makers have got Ankit Menon as the music director, Neeraj Revi as the cinematographer and John Kutty to handle the edits. Backed jointly by Prithviraj Productions and E4 Entertainment, the film is confirmed as an April 2024 release.
