Jyotika to star alongside Mammootty?

Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films is said to be backing the project

For a while now, there have been speculations about The Great Indian Kitchen (TGIK) director Jeo Baby teaming up with Mammootty next. The director confirmed it in a recent interview when he revealed that two of his friends are scripting it.

The latest buzz is that Tamil actor Jyotika is in talks for the female lead's role. The Mozhi actor made her Malayalam debut in 2009 with the TK Rajeev Kumar directorial Seetha Kalyanam. Her Tamil film Snegithiye was also dubbed and released in Malayalam as Raakilipattu.

As per reports, Jeo Baby's film with Mammootty is set to start rolling in October. Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films is said to be backing the project. More details regarding its cast and crew are awaited.
