Dileep's next with director Arun Gopy is set to go on floors on Wednesday. The film, tentatively titled D 147, marks the actor-director duo's reunion after the success of Ramaleela. Tamannaah Bhatia is making her Malayalam debut with this film. Veteran Tamil actor Sarath Kumar has also been cast in a prominent role.

Planned as a big-budget pan-Indian project, the film is scripted by Udaykrishna. Many other leading actors from South Indian languages and Bollywood are also expected to feature in the film, which has Gujarat, Mumbai, and Jharkhand as the main locations.

On the technical front, Arun Gopy has retained his Ramaleela collaborators Shajikumar and Vivek Harshan to handle the camera and editing, respectively. Sam CS is the music director. The film is produced by Vinayaka Ajith under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films.
