Kalyani Priyadarshan has signed a new Malayalam film titled Sesham Mikeil Fathima. The film will be written and directed by Manu C Kumar. Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy are jointly backing it.

Kalyani, who was last seen in Thallumaala, announced the new project through social media. The excited actor has written, "There’s a new Paathu in town… and I can’t wait for you to meet her! You guys have shown me nothing but kindness and love and I hope you shower us with the same for this story. It’ll be a fun one I promise. Joining together with some dear friends and new ones for this one and we hope to have all your blessings… SESHAM MIKE-IL FATHIMA!"

Sesham Mikeil Fathima will have cinematography by Santhana Krishnan (2 Countries, Kabir Singh, NOTA) and music by Hridayam-fame Hesham Abdul Wahab.
