Priyadarshan's next is set to begin later this month. The film will have Shane Nigam, Shine Tom Chacko, and Arjun Ashokan as the leads. Siddique and Tamil actor Gayathrie Shankar, who recently made her Malayalam debut with Nna Thaan Case Kodu, has also been roped in for important roles. Unconfirmed reports also suggest that Shane Nigam plays a cop role in the film.

Divakar Mani, who has worked in Telugu films like Virata Parvam, Ninnila Ninnila, and Ranarangam, has been signed as the cinematographer. Edits will be handled by Ayyappan, a regular in Priyadarshan films.

Priyadarshan, whose last release was Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham, was supposed to reunite with Mohanlal for a boxing-based film. But the film got shelved due to some unknown reasons. The two recently worked together in Olavum Theeravum, which is part of the Netflix anthology based on MT Vasudevan Nair's stories. Priyadarshan also has a Tamil film titled Appatha with Urvashi coming up.
