Monster, the upcoming Malayalam starring actor Mohanlal in the lead role, has been certified U/A with the censor board. 

The film has been scheduled to release in theatres on October 21. It is backed by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas.

Helmed by Vysakh and script penned by Uday Krishna, the film marks the actor reunion with them after the 2016 action thriller Pulimurugan.

Monster stars Telugu actor Lakshmi Manchu, Honey Rose, Lena, Siddique, Ganesh Kumar, Kailash, Sudev Nair, Sadhika Venugopal, Edavela Babu and Biju Pappan in supporting roles. The film has cinematography by Satheesh Kurup and music by Deepak Dev.
