Ranjith Sankar's film 4 Years, a college love story, hit the theatres this Friday. The film starring Priya Prakash Varrier and Sarjano Khalid opened to positive reviews.

A day after the film's release, Priya took to her Instagram handle to pen a heartfelt post extending gratitude to the director and technical crew. "First of all Ranjith Sankar sir, thank you for taking the risk nobody was ready to take all these years by casting me. Your faith in me has helped me give my all to Gayatri. If not for the space you had given us, we wouldn’t have been able to evolve so much in terms of creativity and discovered that there’s so much more we can contribute. Thank you for making me believe in myself again."

"Sangeeth Prathap, Anoop Mohan and Eldhose Raju Thandel You guys just made life easier during the shoot. Without all that effort you guys put in to make our characters most relatable, they wouldn’t have been the same. I know for a fact that you guys did all that cause of your passion towards cinema at the same time the love that you had for me and Sarjano Khalid."

She also thanked cinematographer Salu K Thomas, music composer Sankar Sharma and several others."Last but not least I wanna thank my family and friends, who’ve constantly been the pillars of support throughout my journey. Gayatri’s heart is full," she added.
