In a recent press meet, Dileep confirmed that he is in discussions with director Tinu Pappachan for a new project. The actor was interacting with the media outlets ahead of the release of his brother Anoop Padamanabhan's directorial debut Thattassery Koottam. Apart from the Tinu project, Dileep also revealed that plans to make sequels to his hit films CID Moosa and Runway are also underway.

Tinu Pappachan, whose last release was Ajagajantharam, is currently working on Chaaver with Kunchacko Boban, Antony Varghese and Arjun Ashokan as the leads. He had also announced a project with Jayasurya earlier. Arun Narayanan was supposed to produce that film, but its current status remains unknown.

Meanwhile, Dileep is shooting for Bandra, a big-budget gangster film, which marks his reunion with Ramaleela director Arun Gopy. The actor also has the Raffi directorial Voice of Sathyanathan in the post-production stage. Recently on his birthday, Dileep also announced a superhero film titled Parakkum Pappan. Viyaan Vishnu will be directing the film, which has Raffi attached to it as the scenarist.
