Manju Warrier confirms being part of Ajith, H Vinoth's AK 61

Recently, there were speculations about Malayalam actor Manju Warrier starring alongside in Ajith's upcoming film with director H Vinoth. The Asuran actor has now confirmed this in a media interaction. When quizzed more, she revealed that it is a promising project. However, Manju was reluctant to reveal more details, including its genre.

Tentatively titled AK 61, the film is billed as a heist thriller and its shoot is currently progressing in Hyderabad. It marks Ajith's reunion with H Vinoth after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai.  Boney Kapoor, who produced the actor-director duo's previous two films, is backing this one as well. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer, and it is said that Ghibran will be composing the music.

Meanwhile, Manju Warrier has a handful of projects coming up in Malayalam. Her next release will be the Santosh Sivan directorial Jack N' Jill, slated to hit screens on May 20. She also has Meri Awas Suno, Vellaripattanam, Ayisha, Padavettu and her Hindi debut Amriki Pandit lined up.
