Rahman Brothers' Chavittu selected for Rotterdam film festival

Actors Siju Wilson and Sharafudheen are part of the film's production

Chavittu, directed by the Rahman Brothers, Shinos and Sajas, has officially been selected for the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2022, which opened on Wednesday (January 26).

Chavittu is the third movie from the Rahman Brothers after Kalippattakkaran and Vasanthi. The latter had won three Kerala State Awards in 2019.

Siju Wilson, who starred in and produced Vasanthi, is part of the production of Chavittu as well. His friend and Premam co-star Sharafudheen is the film's main producer.

The film features artistes from the Little Earth School of Theatre, a theatre school based out of Malappuram.

Besides directing, the Rahman Brothers have also scripted and edited the film. Mukesh Muraleedharan is the cinematographer.
