CBI 5 shoot suspended as Mammootty tests positive for Covid

Malayalam superstar Mammootty has tested positive for Covid-19. According to reports, the actor was suffering from a few mild symptoms like throat sore and cold last night, and he tested positive for coronavirus. 

The shooting of his upcoming film CBI 5 has been canceled due to his current health condition. However, reports state that the actor is stable and in good health.

CBI 5 is the fifth film in the popular crime film series of the Malayalam star. Directed by K. Madhu, the film series feature Mammootty as Sethuraman Iyer, a calm and composed CBI officer who doesn't take things as they seem. 

CBI 5 has a star cast comprising Mukesh and Jagathy Sreekumar.
