Martin Prakkat, who last delivered the acclaimed Nayattu, is prepping up to start works on his next. We hear that filmmaker Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval is scripting the film. Ratheesh is known for helming films like Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25 and Nna Thaan Case Kodu.

There are reports about Joju George playing the lead in the upcoming Martin Prakkat-Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval but it is yet to be confirmed. It must be noted that Joju starred in Martin's last film Nayattu, for which he won the Kerala State Award for Best Actor. They were also production partners in films like Charlie and Udhaharam Sujatha.

Meanwhile, Ratheesh is also scripting another film, Madanolsavam. Starring Suraj Venjaramoodu as the lead, it is directed by Ratheesh's former associate Sudheesh Gopinath.
